This was a fantastic read, thank you for writing this! I thought you broke down everything into a very understandable way and even though I've been in the crypto space for about a year now, I still learned something from this post. A book I've been recommended was the Bitcoin Standard; you should check it out if you haven't. It talks a lot about what the world was like when gold was the reserve currency of the world and gives some insight on what a world running on Bitcoin looks like.
How do you feel about the environmental impacts of Bitcoin? It is sustained by mathematical equations that become more complex in proportion to how much is being mined. Last year, Bitcoin used more energy than the entire country of Argentina, and that amount continues to grow. This is clearly insane and unsustainable, and for that reason alone it is inevitable that Bitcoin's days are numbered. (There are numerous other coins that have addressed this problem with their equations. Which one(s) actually get any traction is very much speculation). But at some point you're going to need to get out to avoid getting left with literally nothing. Just something to keep in mind. Make sure you've got an exit strategy because when the end comes for Bitcoin it will come very quickly.
Hands down the best thing I’ve read in ages. Thank you delay!
